‘நான் அல்ல நீரே' / 'Naan Alla Neerae' is a simple reflection of the conviction that the Spirit of God brought forth in my heart, after I experienced a life-changing encounter in a humble Christmas celebration back in December 2006, conducted by Upper Room Youth Mission at Kellys, Chennai. These early days were clearly marked with unexplainable joy, conviction, courage in Christ & burden for the lost.
'Naan Alla Neerae' is the very first song I wrote during March 2008 as I read through Galatians 2:20 and committed to stand steadfast.
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Fast forward to 2020 during the COVID -19 lockdown, almost 13 years after I penned the lyrics, I stand as a testimony to confess the unbounded, unfathomable & unwavering Love of God, exhibited through his Mercy & Grace during each phase of my life. God has been patient in reminding His Laws & Promises to an imperfect & fickle being through the moments of ups & downs; times of success & failure; periods of loyalty & disobedience. This isn’t a proud confession that I was changed 'Overnight' or the work is 'Finished' in me, but a subtle revelation that I am a 'Work in Progress' and I yearn to 'Reflect the Christ' who dwells in me, in every way, every day! - Stephen Rajkumar

(Use me like Elijah to bring a revival in this world)
