Moto G 16 GB Review

Moto G is definitely one of the best budget phones to come out in recent times. Approximately 2 years ago, I got a Samsung Galaxy Y and in the last few months I was looking to upgrade to a better phone with bigger screen and more processing juice. But I was against spending Rs. 30,000 plus for a very high end phone and was looking at Phones below 15K.

Now for the phones below 15 K, I know Xolo and Micromax have some excellent models but I did not want to go for a lesser known brand and the config specs for Samsung phones did not suit me.  Then finally when the Moto G launched and I read pretty much every review on the net, I was sold. So a few days after Flipkart ran out of stock for the 16 GB model, I reserved it and within 8 days got the delivery.

The phone's design is very sleek and industrial. I personally love the boat shaped design which makes it thicker at the middle. The screen looks gorgeous and the hardware is complimented by the new Kitkat upgrade. The only grouse is that the standby button is moved to the side, which is a bit hard to access. I must give a special mention for the default ringtone.  It sounds so cool and sometimes I just let it play.

The Moto G has come as a God send because it simply had amazing specs for such a low budget phone. Things I like,

1.2 Ghz Quadcore processor
1 GB Ram
4.5 inch Gorilla Glass Touch Screen
Andrioid Kitkat
Great set of speakers
5 Megapixel Camera - The camera captures some great images. Really happy with it.

You should get an Amzer case from Flipkart for the Moto G. It fits perfectly and takes nothing away from the design of the phone. The raised edges should give you enough protection from any undue falls.
